Working Together
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. Your commitment and participation are an important part of therapy. This may include attending sessions regularly, listening to the relaxation audio provided and being open to noticing positive changes and progress between sessions.
I understand that individual responses to hypnotherapy vary and that a particular outcome or result cannot be guaranteed.
I understand that hypnotherapy does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by my GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Online Session Safety and Practical Arrangements
I understand that online sessions will take place using an agreed video platform.
I agree to attend my session from a private, safe and comfortable location where I am unlikely to be disturbed.
I understand that I must not attend an online hypnotherapy session while driving or operating machinery.
I agree to provide my current location or address at the time of the session if requested for safety purposes.
I agree to provide an emergency contact name and telephone number.
I understand that I am responsible for ensuring, as far as reasonably possible, that I have a suitable internet connection and appropriate device for the session.
If the session is disrupted by technical difficulties, I understand that reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect or agree an appropriate way forward.
Confidentiality and Privacy
I understand that information discussed during therapy will be treated confidentially, subject to the limits of confidentiality explained in the Privacy Notice (GDPR).
I understand how my personal information will be collected, stored and protected as explained in the Privacy Notice (GDPR).
Recording of Sessions
I understand that audio, video, screen recording, photography or any other form of recording of an online hypnotherapy session is not permitted without prior written consent.
